Kalmar Millitary Exercises

Hello Guys!

On April 26th, the region of the world known as Kalmar shall be hosting some millitary exercises. For those of you who do not know what that means, it involves factions having a series of fake battles against each other. Not only does this provide a fun PvP activity, but the wining faction shall recive some nice rewards and it also helps to train soldiers for combat.

Around midday on the Sunday log onto realms and head to the factions section of spawn. Push the button for PvP and it shall take you to a structure far away. Within this building are a vast selection of teleporters, you want to head to the Kalmar section and go to objectives.

In short for those of you dumb enough not to get that: Spawn>PvP>Kalmar>Objectives

Factions shall need a fireteam of at least 3 players* to compete. If a faction has more soldiers than another the other team shall be given a headstart in some matches.

*Mercenaries are allowed, provided that they are paid fairly

If we feel like we have not gotten alot of training out of the one day we can extend the event by a couple more days.

Survival Games

Hey Guys!

Thanks to Max's recent suggestion, which has gotten alot of positive feedback Golden Realms shall be introducing Survival Games events!

It's an idea I've had for a while, but never thought it would be popular until alot of people suddenly said it would be cool. The event shall take players to the abandoned wastes of Odemark; a harsh, barren, icy environment with little wildlife or trees. Players will not only have to survive the wrath of other people (Or Alex's whining) but hunger and the creatures of the night!

Going off Max's idea, and the feedback it got, there will be random structures and loot caches hidden around the map. These will be full of tools, building equipment and food to keep you going. The map is fully destructable (But try not to Nuke the place please!) and you can build on it. You may also craft your own gear if you so wish, but you'll have better luck of getting supplies in chests.

I have also worked out a way to solve other problems on the server, mainly the gold hoarders (Looking at you Tom!). If you would like a slight advantage over your frienemies, you can pay for a starter kit. The contents of this kit includes:

-1 wooden sword
-1 leather chestpiece
-8 apples
-6 flares
-1 book on tips and tricks

I hope this will be alot of fun. If you can, comment dates and timings when you are free so that we can organise this event. We will need a minimum of 6 people to take part

Josh I strongly agree with Turning the jail into a Jail Break game/map thing as well as just a normal jail. I think it would be very fun, and rather interesting to see how people would try to break out, or even if they could break out. Well then we'll just have to see now won't we. :)
