Garry's Mod and Oculus Rift

This group is to create a community of modders, Map Makers,Designers,Coders,and all Rift Enthusiests. To support gamemodes,tools,addons,ect specificlly for use with the Oculus Rift.

This is also a hub to discuss anything Gmod Or Oculus Related.
Currently TriDef is unfortantly the best option for rifters, but lets get more support for NATIVE options in Gmod Similar to the " Novint Falcon " if anyone has one of those it also works fantastic with Gmod and has great tweak options in the menu.

Well folks summer is over so i can now get back into some VR goodness with garrysmod.
I will be streaming and making a few youtube videos soon,
as well as taking a crack at creating my own content for my server such as models entities or gamemodes.

Also im VERY pleased to annouce that Gmod 2 with full VR support has been confirmed for Source 2 and is in very early development.

Hope to see you guys around. if you have any suggestions on how to make the server better or improve gmod for VR or wish to see something added to the group just drop a line. Thank you again all.

Hello all i would also like to add the "Novint Falcon" also works beautifully with Gmod. i highly suggest a try
( if you can find one, Novint went Dead Face )

The same reason i cant post any Razer Hydra videos or Develop for one.
They are impossible to find.

I promote that you guys try any weird controllers and post the results to let others know how Awesome or ♥♥♥♥ they are.

In the case of the Novint Falcon it has 3 seperate motors inside that make objects have a sence of weight and and grit to them
( the same as the Oculus makes you feel Depth this is hard to just explain )

I will be posting videos some using the Oculus Rift with the Novint Falcon.
Mostly i want to try Lua rollercoasters With it. But we will see if it works the way i expect or not, see you soon guys. Remember ANY weird device you try with Gmod or any other Game let me Know. Bye Now.

Update: just got a good camera and a decent mike, will be posting videos soonish, Still no luck with finding a razor hydra though, if anyone has one to sell please let me know.
