It's been a while year since I last did an announcement. So to break the silence I was busy with work. Yea not that good of a reason but what could I have done. So we have a little issue here. As you can see the group is almost useless. After steam direct it's been very hard it find a system that works with developers. So I do require ideas on how to reinvent the group to better suit the need of a developer. It's also even harder to find people who want to help on projects with developers. I'd like to reach my hand with developers and be an advisory help. But alas nothing is simple. So I need some idea's. There is also the mention of how we can improve upon games. How can you guys compete with bigger games? Is it by signing up with a publisher or publishing it by yourself. I also have ideas for game if anyone is interested.

Hi!
I'm Unkab, 21 years old and I'm a french student in japanese language university, after finished my Arts studies.

I'm an Artist/pixel artist, game designer with a little of GML experience and I'm looking for a serious collaboration with skilled people, because I can't continue developing my game alone..

About the game
Knight project (provisional name) is a 2d platformer, ghouls'n ghost-like where you playing a Knight that has the power of throwing infinite sword (and other stuff to come!) as a ghouls'n ghost/ghost'n goblins game you can attack in 4 directions.

Travel on the land of Leena a country ravaged by an evil and unknown power, people get crazy and depressed, lewd and strange monster appear ,like straight out of a dream.

The player discover the world full of secret and poeple victim of this magic who tell you their story (like in a Dark souls)

I'm planning to sell the game and make a demo before, for letting people to test and give us some nice feedbacks to improve the game!

My art style and Inspirations
I'm a big big fan of dark fantasy, especially Berserk my favorite manga so far, the series of Dark Souls and Undertale (for some aspects) Gave me a lot in terms of narration, that's for the serious part.
But Knight project will have a great portion of funny and crazy elements as Adventure time!

!Warning! I'm just talking about what inspire me, it does'n mean that I copy/paste, My Imaginations do all the job!


What I'm looking for
It could be nice if the members of the team already have a notion in this kind of game /works that I quoted above, it would facilitate the development and communication!

Programmer
A skilled GML programmer that make all the code part, which will allow me to focus entirely on the art/animation part of the game.

Composer
Art take a big place of a game as well as coding but the music is also Important!
I'm not a composer even if I try some little stuff that's why a composer is really important for me as well as a Programmer!
It must be a Chiptune and a Instrumental composer for making various ambience.

PS: Of course, the members of the team have the right to propose their ideas on the project! It's teamwork!


The Payments
Actually, i'm just a student with no job and I'm affraid to say that I can't pay you per hours or something like this.

But I'm planning to release the game and of course, share the money between the members fairly!
(but we can also make a kickstarter or something like this if it's needed!)

Final words
I want to bring the funniest and deepest game I can make, my head is full of all genre of ideas.
I'm looking forward to work with you, share our passion that is video games and have a good time!

Hello fellow Game dev. members.

So if you haven't heard by now steam summer sale is on June 23. So get you wallets ready for the great game sale. Other then that what do you think the event for this year will be? And will you sell games better if its cheaper? Also how much will you discount from the main price if you were a triple a game developer?

Well it'd think that it would be a good steam sale maybe adds 10 games or so. The mini games for this year is gonna be a very hard to know but feel free to guess.
