Guild Wars 2 is a role-playing game that is the successor of Guild Wars, a MMORPG for the PC.

There are numerous changes were made compared to Guild Wars. There are five races available, namely Human, Sylvari, Asura, Charr and Norn, and unlike Guild Wars, where the whole game geinstanced, contains Guild Wars 2 is a persistant world. Instancing is still there, but is now used to tell the story of your character. There are also larger PvP matches (called World vs World) and was an elaborate control system. For example, to jump, slide and swim in Guild Wars 2.

In Guild Wars 2, the achieved statuses are transferred from Guild Wars. To see which statuses and equipment they can bring to Guild Wars 2, ArenaNet has a calculator. Here one can exactly see which states obtained in Guild Wars gets what. It will not be possible to complete the characters (characters') to Guild Wars 2 across.

Events are open to everyone, including characters with a lower level. This game is the maximum level of 20 increased to 80. Furthermore, among others, the graphics improved.

Unlike most other MMORPGs, Guild Wars 2 will be just as precursor Guild Wars does not require periodic fee for playing the game. In Guild Wars this is offset by the release of several chapters and an extension.

Would anyone like to acompany me,through maps and dungeons?The average LV of my characters are 20.Highest is 48.I'm at the Gates of Madness server,but I dont mind guesting. To me:I'm 22 from germany,and speak fluently english (I tend to do some typos once in a while though.)I'm polite,talkative and know my way,around some areas in GW2.Also played GW1,if that counts for anything lol.Feel free to add me here in steam or ingame: Dark Lord Baramus and Dorian Palm are the most used characters of mine!
