so due to me working more + moving soon + just trying to do too much at once, i am obviously VERY late with the server.

and in fact, it's not done. feature-wise, it pretty much is. just uploading maps needs to be done, which i can steadily do over time (there's a plugin that will hopefully let me do so very quickly.)

it's called "jam jam's clam slam". i didn't really mean to call it that, but what the hell lol. makes me giggle.

right now, i have randomizer, ff2, zf, and prophunt set up. dodgeball will be up soon. couldn't get jukebox to work after tooons of attempts, so instead i have sourcemod dj. does the same thing, but doesn't categorize songs nor have as many features.

alright so i'll make this brief.

i miss my server. i really do. i miss you guys too, and even though i don't really play tf2 much (or at all lol) anymore, i truly do miss having the server to look after. all the time i spent making it awesome and customized and whatnot was tedious, but i don't regret the time i spent. and i don't regret meeting (most) of you. (:

however, there will be some differences.

1 - i am NOT putting up with childish ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. i was being super nice letting some of the younger people stay on the server, as well as of age ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. not doing that again. i hated being embarrassed of the regulars in my server.

2 - there will be no group. i understand you guys are used to it being associated with GTFO, but i don't really want to lead a group/clan. not only because i'm part of a different one now, but it's just not my goal. GTFO can still exist if you want, but i'm stepping out of it. (however i will keep the l4d2 server under a steam group for easy access)

3 - even if i do play a lot more again, i can't play as much as i did in the past. i have a job and even when i'm off, i'm playing a handful of other games. so i can't be there constantly to babysit. nor should i have to.

i'll probably get another server up and running sometime this weekend, and i'll be sure to post the IP here and whatnot. it won't be an exact replica, but i'll make sure it's at least somewhat familiar.

well. i don't know how to make this NOT sound like i'm replacing the group, but i'll try.

tbh guys, gtfonline is a little too silly for what kap and i actually want to work with. it's cute for tf2 and is appealing to younger kids but.. it's not something that can be appealing to a general audience. besides, it was made strictly for the tf2 server, so trying to expand was difficult (and unsuccessful!)

but we didn't want to give up, we tried again. thus, EGGhead Gaming was born. it's like.. gtfonline's kinda geeky but hot older brother that all the girls talk about at sleepovers.

if you don't want to join, that's fine. but i encourage you to! it's still in its infancy, but hopefully it can become an established video game/computer/nerdy junk group. we'll see though!

the L4D2 server is also being associated with EGGhead Gaming rather than GTFOnline. if you'd like to associate your terraria/minecraft servers with gtfonline still, that's perfectly fine too.

i honestly don't know when it's going down for the count. i canceled on my birthday so at this point it's like whenever i guess rofl. this wasn't a prank or anything, it's legit going down but... lmao

ohkay guys. i didn't think this needed to be said again, but i guess it does.

come july 27th (well, end of day july 26th) the gtfonline tf2 server will be going down. granted the group was originally just for the server, with all of the friendships and connections that have developed, it's impossible to just delete the group.

though the server will be gone, gtfonline will stay and group members will keep in touch and play other games. hell, you can still play tf2 together! just not on our server.

unfriending people in the group, people who you talk to outside of the server, people who are your FRIENDS just because the server is going down? sorry, it's stupid. this isn't like leaving people from summer camp. the server is going to be gone, but steam isn't. skype isn't. nothing else is changing.

so people, i understand you're going to miss the times we had on the server, i will too. but don't be so dramatic.. keep in touch with the people you've played with and talked to in the past year. they still exist.
