There are some guidelines and rules that you want to follow if you are a part of this lovely community:

RULES

• Must be 16 years of age or above. Exceptions to this rule are only ever made if there is a person in the clan who can take the responsibility for the recruit. Even so a few questions will be asked prior to invitation to the clan.
  
  
• Be a part of the community, socialize, participate, help out. Joining a clan is more than just signing up for some "membership". Its a commitment to eachother.
  
  
• Contributions to research, dojo construction and the like.
  You will probably be asked to donate resources at some point, but nobody will punish you for refusing.
  
  
• Kick at 14 days inactivity will occur unless a notification of extended leave is given prior. Kick at 30 days occurs regardless. Players can return to the clan by notifying us of their return

The benefits to joining are absolutely great!
You can always find great company to hang out with, there will always be people who can help out - and not just stand by the sideline, watching you struggle with whatever you're up against.

Every recruit is assigned to a mentor - a high-ranking member of this community.
He will be your guide, to make sure you do not get lost nor end up without people who can help you out, that way or another. The mentor is assigned with respect to the pupil's desired timezone.

Well your performance should not be affected.
I know mine wasnt - well, it was at first but they are fixing the bugs making it so.

One bug was with the sound engine, made reverb cause FPS <12. Fixed as of 18.5.3
Second was with PhysX - Also fixed as of 18.5.3
Dont give up - i bet in a few more fixes you'l be back in action, these devs value performance on craptops.
