The server is closing down in the next month, play at your own risk

This space engineers game is intended to be : 

Co-operative : players working together to reach a common goal 

Non-PVP : This means no shooting, or ramming. Stealing and grinding are also prohibited, but then again most equipment on the colony would be considered common property, so things get a little murky. If you wish to have some kind of private property (a residence or a vehicle) then set the doors to non-share, and hopefully everyone will respect that and not grind their way inside.

Role-Playing : I don't know how far anyone will take this but lets give it a try 

On Voice : It would be great if everyone logged into the Teamspeak server whenever they are logged into the SE server. Even if you make a separate channel so you don't have to listen to the general chatter. This way you are reachable if someone wishes to contact you. It also helps if you go afk, you can indicate this in teamspeak. I realize that not everyone is comfortable with being on voice, but it does make communication a lot quicker and easier. 

If you are not down with all four of these things, then you may want to consider going to another server for your online SE experience. 

If you are staying, there are some other things you should know. 

Unlimited speed : The server is employing the speed of light mod. The main implication of this is that your ships are not limited to the 100 m/s limit of the vanilla server. In space this is both convenient and realistic. On the planet, however it can make getting up or down the gravity well a little more challenging. My best advice is to go down the well as slowly as possible, and up the well as fast as possible.

There are several other mods on the server, but they are more or less all cosmetic in nature. Basically either decorative items that have no function or reskins of existing items.

Well, that's it. I hope to see you on the server, and if you plan on staying a while, it would be great if you joined the steam group so I can get a feel for how many people are playing on the server when I am not around.
