The Fireon Clan

Fireon started out running a server supporting command and conquer renegade with an IRC channel for people to meet, chat and to watch over/administrate the server. Although renegade was hugely popular and is still running well Fireon felt it was time to move on. After 2 years of renegade it got to the point where everyone knew the maps inside out and upside down and we yearned for more.


It was decided that we should turn our hand to the world of counter strike source. There was a steep learning curve for many of us to adjust to the way the game handled compared to renegade but we all got stuck in and started training together to get involved with some wars. Initially we a had public and a match server, Snipes worked his magic and got our first forums off the ground along with team speak. As time progressed we stopped the wars due to people having real life commitments and others just lost interest so we tried out different server types such as death match, gun game (which is still running today) and a few mods. It was only during our time in CSS that our clan started to grow at a much faster pace and we readily took on members. Our recruitment would appear to be different to a lot of the other clans in the way that we don't just recruit the best players, anyone no matter how bad their gameplay was could join if they got on with the current members, obeyed the rules and generally just played to have fun.


We have recently expanded into Call of Duty 4 and have a server up and running with a fair amount of regulars that support it.


Fireon have always been and always will be above all other things an anti cheat team, we go out of our way to make sure that our servers are clean from cheats and we even go undercover to check our own members.
