Yo! Glad to see that there are dozens of us Steam FFXIV Users!

I've been sort of looking for someone to moderate the group, as I've never really had the time to, either play the game or moderate that is. I've had lots of fun on and off over the past nearly 8 years this group has existed, and it has remained very large and seldomly used.

I'm hoping that this person is someone who can make some changes, and make them so that the group is more useful for people. The general idea was to have a place where you had a few people you could communicate with through the group chat, post small recruitment blurbs on the group forum, etc.

Because I never wanted to use it for a specific server, linkshell, or what not, I never could figure out how to make the time or what to do to make this group useful. The last thing I wanted to do was spam everyone with daily announcements or events that pop up like cell phone push messages.

I've had a person come along and requrest to take over the management of the group, and I wish them well. If you start seeing announcements more often, and more activity in the group, then they were successful. They will have full access to the group functions for essentially a trial period. I don't want to let go of my old baby too carelessly.

In the time since I started playing XIV, I've gone back to college, applied for and will soon enter grad school, lived on the west coast, lived in Japan, and had so much excitment in my life, I can hardly tell where the time has gone. Obviously not into this group ^_^

I would encourage anyone who still is active to contact the new officer, leave notes on the forums, and otherwise, be the wonderful and kind people I've always known Final Fantasy Addicts like yourselves to be.
