not sure if this has been mentioned before, but today i just recently noticed that my steam account was linked to epic games without my consent, i don't recall, ever remembering linking my steam account to epic games except installing the platform to perform an exploit for a game. Is this even possible? as again I never, once, even used a dummy email address to register in epic games

I noticed this when i purchased dying light 2, and the fucking epic games crossover launcher keeps popping like adware, forcing internet edge to open and its showing me the dummy account, additionally activating my anti-virus, and after nonstop attempts of clicking 'sign out', i realized my actual steam account is linked without my consent through the settings as i was about to delete the account
