Buff Banner/shotgun RANT
Have you ever played bball and thought: Nice shotgun kill!......No? Me neither.
Plaing bball is all about airshots, cool jumps and teamwork and that does not require a shotgun.
I have received numerous complaints about shotgun abuse in tournaments, leaving some people to avoid bball tournaments.
Shotgun can be quite superior in bball, as it is a hit register weapon compared to rocket launcher, which is a projectile weapon.
Shotgun easily kills momentum, things such as bodyblocking/shotgun jumping are more effective when using shotgun compared to using rockets.
To easily enable Buff banner use: rcon exec etf2l_bball, rcon tftrue_whitelist_id ""
Its important to upload LOGS and not screenshots of matches as there is no whitelist with these configs, and logs can tell dmg done by weapons.
Why not just enable Gunboats?
Enabling Gunboats changes the game completely, getting airshotted twice and still being able to cap is ridiculous.
I might as well just host a 1-on-1 cup instead, as no teamwork is required with infinite cap attempts.
Using the Buff Banner means that you take the same dmg on jumps, and change game mechanics much less.
Having the Buff Banner equipped changes nothing, as you will most likely die before getting the Buff or get reset due to a cap - HOWEVER, if your Buff Banner meter is full at some point, activating it is NOT allowed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Register as a team, and put the team captain's STEAM URL information on the team profile, this allows teams to easily find one another.
Teams must submit logs and report their own score.

SCHEDULE
This tournament will be played as a ONE-NIGHT tournament EXCEPT the upperbracket semi-final, lower bracket final and grand final, they will be played on day 2.
Teams will be given an hour to finish the first round, to accommodate problems that might occur early in the tournament.
Following rounds will be played when teams are ready (BUT there is a deadline so don't delay matches by HOURS, people are waiting to play their matches).
Day 1. 18th December:
Round 1. Start - 18:00-19:00 CET.
Round 2,3,4...Ect. Start - 19:00-23:00 CET.
Day 2. 19th December:
Start - 20:00 CET.

RULES
Teams must be able to provide logs of matches, if requested by admins.
Server configs and whitelist: rcon tftrue_freezecam 0; rcon exec etf2l_bball; rcon tftrue_whitelist_id ""
Buff Banner is mandatory to equip, and not to be used during the matches.
ctf_ballin_sky is the only map allowed.
No configs, unlocks, or weapons that aren't allowed in standard etf2l bball are allowed, except if provided above.
In violation of the rules provided above, teams will be banned from the tournament.
No cheats or hacks of any sort is allowed, players will be banned from future tournaments if caught.
Admins can be requested, if any rules are violated during matches.
Admins can be contacted in group chat during tournaments.
New unlock or configs may be considered, by feedback of the community.
