The server will attempt to follow the timeline and try to stay close to lore, but there are going to be a few things that stray from this.

Background Story: The invasion of Earth, led by the Advisors and their combine soldiers, brought great destruction and enslaved humanity. After rebellions broke out; chaos and war followed. One of the advisors went rogue and took a detachment of combine with itself, forming a tight grip on City 18. From City 18, the rogue advisor expanded and raided other cities, looting and enslaving those unlucky to survive the onslaught.

Server Launch Info + Recruitment for City 18 HUB workers

The official server shall be launched on Friday, and there will be an intro event around 4-5pm PST. After the intro event, a break will be had for some organization of people, then the "Story Event" will take place.

As I stated in the discussions regarding rank, all newcomers to the server will start off as PVT #### (Name). (PVT 1452 Wil) And upon spawning, to your right is a fenced area used to gather information of arriving citizens, in this case, it will be used to train your name, so upon spawning, get in line and follow it to the desk, and do not stray outside of it. There are veterans wandering about, and if they see you waltzing around, you'll get hit.
You shall be directed through most of the first bit, then free choice will come into play, heralding certain outcomes for each choice. You get the gist.

This server has moments of serious roleplay, but when at the city, feel free to relax and wander or train, I will be adding things to throw money at eventually. So I will make a list of times when certain types of roleplay are required.

Events: Serious RP, enforced by beatings.
At base: Casual RP, serious when near officers who demand it.
Event Setup: Get in your formations as usual, but if the CO in charge allows it, feel free to socialize. Serious RP / Casual RP

I need people to work the doors of City 18's hub, so I will be recruiting people willing to work in these positions. They will carry the support role into events, as they will have access to advert and can heal/refuel drones. They will also call support using the J.I communicators.
(This is a very serious job, and you will usually spend most of your time in the hub) So let me know if you're interested in the job, and I will review you after the story event.

The slots for the server will be around 30-40, so try to get in relatively fast. See you then.
