Steam was in need of a dedicated group for developers and publishers of all sizes and skill sets to share ideas, recruit talent and promote their work.

Whether you have released a game or not, if you was or are in the process of developing a video game, you are welcome to this group. The membership will essentially be managed by developers here inviting their friends and colleagues that have a hand in game development to the group.

This group is closed to invites only, but if you are a verified member we have trusted that you will only send invites to those involved with game development.

Today marks the first day of The Developer Network's existence.

The group's purpose is to bring verified developers together to share ideas, get advice and promote their work.

All verified developers will be promoted to moderator so that they can send invites to any of their friends who are also involved with game development.
