Lower rank soldiers always take orders.
Same rank soldiers may discuss who should lead the squad.
If Squad leader (Highest rank) is KIA, the soldier with a higher rank than the others will take command.
Soldiers are to follow orders without questioning.
Only high ranking officers (2LT and higher)
May promote a soldier.

* = Only given to soldiers who have proved themselves during extreme situations.
X = Only given to certain Soldiers of extreme squad leading skills.
XX = Can only be achieved if you...
1. won a game on Suicidal with less than 3 soldiers in total KIA
2. Showed extreme tactical skill, being able to act without hesitation under extreme pressure.
W = Can only be acheved by doing all of the above and having knowledge of tactical formations, showing alot of battle awareness and being able to spot good cover.
