Determination, Respect and Sportsmanship

DeRoyalSnipers was formed in 2009 by Sidular as a competitive gaming clan, though this venture was short lived. You see, way back then, Team Fortress 2 was full of poorly managed game servers, and countless admins that were more than willing to abuse their powers, all in the name of fun. Of course, for your average player, being killed by someone that had some kind of special ability was not, in any way, shape, or form, fun. It was truly quite frustrating. Especially when you consider that 8 out of every 10 community servers allowed for their administrators to abuse their powers. Searching for a viable server became something of a chore.

DRS wanted to do something about this, and in January of 2010, we decided to launch our own server, in the hopes that we could finally provide a safe and reliable playing environment free of admin abuse and player corruption. We promised to ourselves, and to the TF2 community, that we would always be around to provide a fair experience for everyone.

We successfully kept our promise to the TF2 community by providing what was, and will forever be, a fair experience.

As some of you may know, we're currently in the process of reviving our community with a fresh coat of paint. This, unfortunately, is no easy task. To put it bluntly, we need your help.

Requirements

You'll need to be active on our forums[drs.sidular.com].
You'll need to be active within our community.
You've gotta be trustworthy.

Responsibilities

Ensure that our servers are always populated with active players.
Enforce server and community rules.
Maintain a fun and safe playing environment for everyone.

If you're simply seeking power, look elsewhere. We're looking for serious admins that are willing to dedicate a fair amount of their time to ensure that our community remains active, fun, and safe.

We are a community unlike any other, yet we receive little recognition for what we have achieved. DeRoyalSnipers operates a truly historic Team Fortress 2 server. We've been online longer than any other, and have no intentions of leaving any time soon.
