Some of these tips include:

-Make scraps (which are a less sanitary alternative to bandages) from fabrics (shirts, bandannas) by right clicking the item while it is not equipped.
-Lower or raise a held item with the space bar
-You need an opening device to get food from canned goods (such as pasta, beans, not sodas or tuna). An opening device can be anything from an ax, screwdriver to a canopener, but the prior two may cause an amount of food to be lost during opening.
-You can break out of handcuffs if the handcuffs are not in good condition! I've done it myself! ;)
-Zombies run indoors, and glitch through walls, so be careful!
-If you place an item on the ground and it doesnt appear, wait for a minute at most, sometimes the item takes a little while to appear.
-If you have an item in your hot key menu that is all white and hollow looking, that means you no longer have that item or that the item is empty.
