Hello everyone, in light of repeated complaints and reports regarding lag and overbuilding (primarily on our endless/creative mode servers, though this is not solely an endless/creative mode issue) we have decided to implement new guidelines on what constitutes server sabotage. From this point forward, building/placing more than 75 merm houses, pig houses, bunnyman hutches or spider dens IN TOTAL per shard despite being warned will be considered server sabotage, which we will evaluate and ban for accordingly. (AKA the number of any of those placed by player added up should not surpass 75). Note that this rule applies per shard, so caves and surface can each have 75 total. It will be the players' responsibility to coordinate with others to figure out how to allocate these structures and resources as needed to not surpass the limit.

We hope this helps with the sometimes game breaking lag that old worlds can have, especially with "megabasing" and overbuilding of certain entities. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments below, and have fun in our servers! Remember to keep your bases at a reasonable size!

As a side note: this is a reminder to DST Creative Mode players that the rules of our servers (when applicable) apply to all of our servers, including our creative mode servers, AKA creative mode does not imply there are no rules to follow. Players are still expected to not grief, and to treat others courteously. We will not hesitate to kick/ban those who cannot follow our server rules, so please refresh and familiarize yourselves with our servers' rules!

Hello everyone!

It has come to our attention that a significant number of players like to hammer/burn the base before leaving the server when they are the last few/ last person online. We consider this to be griefing, just like any other instance bases being destroyed, so please don't do it (even your own base)! We are prepared to ban people if needed.

On the other hand, we have also noticed quite a few incidents of people burning/hammering their bases before rollbacks happen. We do not consider this griefing, but we heavily discourage everyone from doing this in our servers. People destroying their bases makes it significantly harder for us to investigate actual griefing, and can lead to wrongful kicks/bans.

Hello everyone, the admin team has found ourselves famished and craving decadence on this fine 4/20 plus we want to thank you guys for helping us reach 6,000 Steam group members, so we are proud to announce our third competitive event: the DST Cooking Competition!

For this event, players will be competing either by themselves or with a partner to score as many points possible from cooking and offering to us crockpot foods. Please see the included documents for the contest rules and point breakdowns.

Prizes
The prizes for this competition will be the same as last time: Steam gift cards in USD (which can be converted into equivalent currency and used in any region) as follow:
1st: $20.00
2nd: $10.00
3rd: $5.00

NOTE: Duo teams will share the prize money!

All winners will also be featured in our Discord's #🥇events_bulletin and Steam group page, as well as receiving exclusive roles in our Discord server to commemorate their excellence and skill in cooking!

How to Register
Fill in the Doodle below with your (and your partner's, if you will have one) Discord name, and corresponding 4 digit handles (e.g. thegreatmanagement#4508), as well as your availability for the event.

Those who sign up will be given the password to join the server(s) on the day of the competition, so please be sure to register before 11:59 PM PST on Thursday, April 29th!
