The Syndrome will infect the world. Will you break or will you survive?

No one saw it coming. It came in an instant and rained down at every possible victim. Some ran. Some screamed. Some died. Some survived. Those who weren't infected grouped together to established the City; the haven from the Wasteland full of DB victims. No one really knows what DB is, or where it originated from. Whatever it is, it was a virus. It destroyed the victim's mind into something beyond human, changing their minds, their bodies, and ultimately erasing their memories. The past was forgotten, and the victim would be born into a completely new being with enhanced strength and speed, but at the brink of insanity. Some retained it. Some accepted it. Some wanted to die even more.

You're either a Normal or Abnormal victim. You either cause a threat to the public or remain sane and composed in the public eye. Regardless, you weren't the same anymore. While you may retain the same human appearance, you were someone else entirely. It is extremely rare for the Syndrome to keep your memories, yet some did.

Not all victims had powers, but all victims are sufferers. The Wasteland was a survival game. The struggle to even stay away from other potential threats within their area was nothing but risk. The City ignores all. The City is "pure". The City is "haven". The City sees victims as insects. They don't try to help. They kill.

There is no cure.
