In game Clan Roster and Steam

Hey Guardians

Just wanted to reaffirm this with everyone in the steam group.

Currently the in game Roster does not update who is actually online unless steam has some sort of social connection to the other person.

In order to full fill this requirement at least until Bungie finds a fix, you either need to be friends with everyone in the clan, or you need to be joined to the steam group chat.

Joining the steam group alone is not enough you also need to join the group chat. you can do this in your friends list menu or from the group page.After you join you should now see more clan members online in the clan roster.

Please note this will only show you everyone else who is in the chat but it is much easier then sending out a million invites.

Shadowkeep is LIVE!

Hey there Guardians,

Shadowkeep launched on the first and as everyone is getting their fix and grinding to max power we wanted to make everyone aware of a few noted issues regarding social features on steam and how they have been working with Destiny 2.

Currently if you are not friends with a user you can not see if they are online from the in game clan roster. This has made things a little difficult to group up and tackle activities together. We also recommend that once you have added a person from the clan to your friends list that you tag them as PAST if you would like to organize your friends list on steam.

In addition to this issue we do have another steam social growing pain, calls through steam. This can be a potential issue for some people, using steam, you can be called directly and this does reveal your IP address. In order to dodge this issue you can set your self to Do Not Disturb for now and it will auto ignore calls.

That's it for now, we will continue to update the above list if anything else comes up.

P.S the raid opens this Saturday, the 5th, at reset time. If you are interested in tackling the raid day 1 we do still have some groups with space. Feel free to check out our the100.io page or the discord lfg for info on these groups(you can also bug lemon)
