So I got into game design, in 2016 after playing Undertale and realizing I will never experience anything as good as that for that rest of my life.

I had to hurry drop everything I was doing and start learning how to make games ASAP!

I was thinking what special thing could I bring? The only big things that really helped me in my past was "learning how to learn" in TF2.

I think there is something really special about how in the early days of TF2, you are literally thrown into the pool and you sorta have to swim on the fly.

The tutorial was "ok" but the real training grounds was getting thrown into a server and trying weird things.

This game is sort of like that. It hides a lot of depth for you to find out yourself. (Similar to the person who discovered stair stabbing).

So yeah this is what I've been doing with my time and I really enjoy it and I wanted to share it with anyone else that may still remember me.

Hello it's been a while, I'd like to share what's on my mind with you.


I want to really thank you above all else for everything you have done for me. I know it's kind of crazy looking about it now, but I want to let you know how much you mean to me and how it's shaped my life.


Before I get into detail...

I would like to explain properly why I did these events in the first place and where I was mentally for context.
I initally did the raffles because I wanted to get rid of my stuff.

See like many people in the trading community I wanted to have the most amount of "stuff" (the neverending ratrace to keeping up with the Joneses).

I think we see this a lot in our day to day lives. We have this huge amount of pressure from every single advertiser, or peers to stand out.

"Oh you want to be someone respectable then own a Ferrari or how expensive is your rolex."

We're constantly reminded by advertisers that we do not matter unless we have the "right stuff". I'm sure they do this because having us give a ♥♥♥♥ about these things means more buisness from us. That's how I used to think before the raffles.

I'm sure you all remember the holiday Headase Hat that I put while doing the raffles. That was my dream hat, I reminded myself that owning that hat would make things better for me. I could enter a server and people would look at me. I would matter if I owned this hat (Like the thneeds from the Lorax).

But once I put on my "dream hat" I realized that it did not bring me any happiness like I told myself it would...I felt betrayed, I was lied to, none of it all mattered in the grander scheme of things. I was angry at myself so I selfishly decided that I would get rid of it once and for all.


I started giving it away the stuff in my inventory for purely selfish reasons.

Honestly I wanted to prove to myself that the hats didn't matter and the sooner I got rid of my stuff the better.

I think back then I wanted to be respected. I wanted to barge in a room and make people feel like they were the best person in the room. I wanted you to feel pure love and joy whenever we saw each other.

That was the energy I set out for myself when I gave my stuff away.

Then you came in and threw a wrench in my selfish plans lol.

See I wanted to get rid of my stuff, but I wanted you guys to feel like rockstars.

So once I started running out of stuff to give. You sent me a trade request and subtextually said, "HEY! I like the energy that you put out when you give stuff away, I know you are low on stuff but I'm having some fun and I don't want this to end, so here are some hats and let's keep this party going :)" (Total amount of all the stuff we gave away)[imgur.com]

Unsure of how to react at the time I agreed. I kept the party going and this gave me a type of porpuse I was looking for all along. So we kept the raffles going far longer than I thought we would.

This is the raffles you know and love and where I suspect most of you joined the group.

You probably only know me during this period. Because the promise of free stuff was pretty enticing but then we did Fashion Shows, and made NukaCola's server stand out together as a community.


Maybe we all loved the energy of the raffles , or maybe it was how tense the game was, or I don't really remember all the reasons that made the games so popular in the first place.

But I think that the raffles were kind of this space where you could go in with nothing, some blabbermouth named BOON would hype you up to the extreme. All eyes would be on you and you felt important.

It is a really good feeling that we created together. I feel like the promise of stuff was what brought most of us in together initially. But afterwards we had a really fun community which is the reason most of us stayed after the raffle ended.

I still miss those days.

It was without a doubt one of my favorite experiences in gaming.

After the raffles ended, we kept the party going, we hosted FASHION SHOWS!

I worked hard to make sure you felt great, so when you started doing it to me, that's when I fell in love with the raffles. Thank you very much from the depths of my heart to make me feel so good.

Time has passed but we're still here.
I will forever be indebted to the lesson that you have taught me. Even today in my daily life I remember how these extravaganzas have shaped me to be the person I am today. I am thankful for you, and how you made my life that much better. You are all gave so much that it brings me with great honor to have been able to met you. Thank you!
