Still no nerf for Claire Morte or Ivis.

So. I recently managed to play Cosmic League and I must say it's better than what I did on the Japanese Beta. I'm having fun with the exception when an Ivis or Claire appears and destroys everything they have because Cyberstept still doesn't know the meaning of "balance" in humanoids. Aaanyways.

I will be posting events and I'm sorry for all the inactivite lately, I will post all the updates, info and tactics if needed, also I'll be adding a player list soon enough, if I can manage to gather enough people on the chat room.

The game is actually blocked for Europe players, but it is just the download, they can play perfectly fine if they have the game installed (Confirmed by a friend).


I hope you can forgive me for the inactivity in all those months!

Hello yet again guys!

I got to buy a new computer before the OBT starts mostly for upgrade things so I haven't been around steam lately. I wanted to leave you guys info that the OBT will begin in aproximately 12 hours from now (01:00 AM EST for it's grand opening on the 24th) The servers shall be open for more than 4 days straight until the 28th at 9:00 PM EST. After that the game will shut down for aproximately 2 days and begin official service on the 30th at 03:00 AM EST! With no wipes planned all progress made in OBT will move to live version!

The OBT will have the same robots as the CBT, with the addition of new A rank mechas and weapons (currently undisclosed who they might be!).

- Because people abused it in fully fledged teams of 7-10 people, the group matching system has been reduced to 3 players maximun.

- Paint shop added, for now you can color the mechanic parts, skin editing is not yet implemented in the OBT.

Then Live service will launch with the following features.

- Humanoids (Bishojos) will hit S rank, increasing their cost from 60+ and extending their level cap to 40 which allows them great increase in health and damage. Robots characters can't advance to S rank but there are no S rank weapons that girls can use aside of their provided weapons.

- All the robots seen in the CBT will become playable (with the inclusion of Albatreoss, Axeon, Mighty Byne and Toybox)

- The new girl (name and class undisclosed for now) will became available along with a returning Cosmic Break 1 character Lily Rain! (offensive type Buster-class Humanoid)

- Cash shop will open up. (It will include some items to clutch some players like XP up and UC in bulks for now and the new item garakon).

- Garakon as suppossedly won't offer new robots but it will offer alternate forms for the robots you possess, you will be able to adquire all robots in their basic forms as a free player that come as promotion items from this new garakon, It affects both girls and robot characters offering alternate forms they only need the item to unlock it and switch forms anytime, inflicting changes upon their appearance, stats, and some of their features like weapons and abilities. Most of this alternate forms can be seen as custom skins thou for fashion purpose (like different outfit and hair colors for the girls).

- Cyberstep been talking about Cash shop items becoming treadable using Rt as a currency between players, and to prevent abuse UC deduction with a daily trade limit based on player rank, but this is not confirmed to be in the final version. We will have to see the live release on May to see how it works out!

- If you type "cosmicbreak2" in the item code NPC, you shall receive a special gift during live version!

The Cosmic Break 2 Open Beta has been announced, it will open on April 24th at 01:00 EST, and it will start the game's regular service! Therefore there won't be any schedules or wipes. And the game will start in a vanilla state for a few months without the garapons and cash shops being implemented in the game.

For those who haven't downloaded Cosmic Break 2 yet there will be a new client download for the OBT client from April 22nd at 23:00 EST. If you already have the game client during CBT. The game will automaticly patch.

There still no news of the English release, aside that they said they will try a different business method for its version and it will be around this Summer, So we will have to wait at least one or two months for further announcements regarding Cosmic Break 2 EN.

And we still have no notes of what have been improved over the Closed Beta. I left a lot of suggestion regarding balance changes between catdriges, weapons and characters and they took them, so there will be changes for sure! Keep in mind that until the cash shops open that makes all the starter girls available, you will be only be able to use one starter girl between Crimrose, Lunastacia and Fiona so choose wisely! (The adquire them all in Rank 11 was a closed beta thing!)

Hello everyone! :3 I'm sorry I wasn't doing much updates lastly been extremely busy between recording the CBT and work at same time. I wanted to start writing an article regarding the Arena and how its composed and everything you need to know and what's different from Cosmic Break 1.

I think first off learning how to fight is important. I already left a video tutorial about the movement and control and its differences. But if you didn't see it, you can do clicking down here.

Now actual arena, the biggest difference with Cosmic Break 1 is the BP scales of a battle. They start with 2000 BP each team, and additional based on the total cost of each player's commando divided by 2.


BP AND TOWER FRAMES


Robot costs are reduced to 2 digit numbers, ranging from 6 to 38 as the highest cost seen in the CBT. Whenever a player dies, it sustract BP based on this calculation, 30 BP for death + enemy robot cost + their position from bottom to top (0 from bottom, add 1 per position above), in example, if I die as Fiona being in 1st place in a 16 player match in the ranking it would substract a total of 30 for dieing + 35 cost + 15 points for being in first place, making a total of 80 points total!

Aside of killing players and substracting their BP in cost, Frame Towers will spawn, Frame towers appear both at same time and are the main objective of the game. Frame towers come with 4 tower bits that fire missiles that produce massive stun, the tower has 3 phases, first phase is the defense state, in this state the tower enters into a force field that absorbs 90% of the incoming damage, making it not a good idea for the enemy to attack it, next phase is buff phase, granting a 50% all stat bonus and 25% damage reduce to all players that grabbed the buff during the buff phase for 30 seconds, cannot be stacked or refreshed, and only taken once, third phase is knockback phase, where it will constantly emit waves that knockback the enemy players being close to it, the pulse will send them around 20-30 steps away when struck by that force, once that phase its over it goes back to the first phase and heals 100 HP and 100 per player standing on the pulse field on max of 3 players, making it 400 HP heal which is basically half of the tower's health. Finally the more players stay in the tower, the faster it will repeat its cycle to heal faster, if the tower is too damaged it is suggested that all players stand close to it so it heals quickly and stays in force field mode as much as possible, it will recycle its buff phase oftenly as well making it totally impossible to take down the tower effectively if the whole team camps on it.

Frame towers has many ways to be destroyed, from assaults and panzers performing melee attacks to demolish the main tower, aerials, busters & fortresses can shoot the tower from a safe distance, or sneak attackers with stealth drives damaging the towers while not showing up on the radar for a stealth assault on it. Jammers can also cast slow field to debuff all the players and remove the tower's buffs.

It is HIGHLY suggested that if the whole team is camping next to the tower, the players and the bits has to be targeted first, and then the tower taken down once they dont have enough players on it. Tower destruction gives 15% of the total BP on takedown and 4% per bit destroyed. Destroying bits first will maximize enemy team BP loss but destroying the tower also makes a substancial loss if the chance is given.

Once the team or enemy tower is destroyed there will be a 30 second phase where the opposite team's tower will remain, the enemy team might do a desperate attempt to destroy the other tower frame in that phase. If successfully defended the tower will leave.

Towers spawn in 4 phases. Which triggers when lowest BP remaining team is at 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%. If the trigger occurs while both towers are active, it will enter a 30 second timer, where if no tower is destroyed they both despawn and next phase start, if a tower is destroyed previously from a trigger, the game will enter a "team death match mode" like classic cosmic break 1 until the next trigger is met. In some maps around Phase 3 (50% BP left) if Phase 2 tower has been destroyed a giant meteor will impact the center of the map and destroy the bridge that can be used as a short way to the enemy base or create a blockade to the fastest route, making it harder to have a front line combat.





SUDDEN DEATH AND THROWING/DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIROMENT


The last thing in comparison to cosmic break 1 is the "sudden death mode". As time progresses, the arena will become more harsh. Every 5 minutes the BP cost and death penalties will increase!

Meteorfalls are random rainbow colored meteors falling randomly on the map, they do 200 damage if they fall over an unlucky player's head which are fragments of the cosmo peace raining from the sky, when they impact they randomly generate objects, from rocks to jars and wooden boxes which players can pick up and throw at their enemies (yes, throwing boulders!).

They can inflict heavy damage to players if landed over and objects like boulders can do very heavy damage to the frame tower until they crack open.

Aside of that, wonder boxes can appear from meteorfalls, once broken you will be given a random wonder bit. Which can be used as items.

The last throwable item I will mention does not come from meteorfalls but are right next to your spawn sites, which are bombs, you can pick up and throw to the enemies (I have yet to figure how to do that since they changed the controls of them again). Bombs will do 50-100 damage and do massive knockback on enemies, oftenly used for classes that cant defend themselves at close range and aerials that fly to player spawn to steal their bombs and throwing it at their Frame Tower which the explosion damage ignores the 90% barrier.

I think that should cover everything up about fighting in the arena. Here are more replays from my channel where I cover up different robots.
