The server hardware has been pieced back together and now I am in the process of updating Game Server files.

In the data migration, I lost the TS server config that we had, so that will be starting from scratch :|

Good news!

After weeks of pestering, I have got word back that MSI will be sending a replacement motherboard back to me.

Hopefully, I will have the server up and running by the weekend.

With this, comes with it obviously the question of server configuration!

In regards to ARK;
Its been quite a while since the server has been running and I haven't kept up to date with mods and the like...

I've had a lot of people asking for the server to be vanilla and those that want mods.
I don't know which way I will go, so I will most likely chuck up a poll towards the end of the week, once I get a better outlook of when the server will go live again.

Just a quick update,

I was doing some maintenance to the server and changing some hardware components (different gfx card + install UnRAID with HDD Raid Array).

And the PCIe slot went kaput.

So I am talking with my hardware supplier about a warranty return.

Once I get more information I will update.

I've been suggested to try a new map on the server to bring an influx of new players... Not a bad idea, I also wanted to tweak the server stats as well as I think 3x is a little too fast.

I will be starting another server alongside the current to try out the new map...


For players that don't want to play on the old map or want to check out a new map can move across.

Those that wish to remain can do so and pillage to their hearts content I guess.

There will be a follow post to this with all the details of the new server stats and config but keep an eye out... The new server will be up in a hour or so.
