A Modern Warfare 3 patch for the PC a few days ago has added five new prestige levels to the game, raising the level needed to reset stats to 15. In addition, a discovery from MP1st has revealed 10 new prestige emblems were added to the PC version's game files, meaning an eventual move to 20 prestige levels will come.

Late last night we finally got official word from Infinity Ward, as Robert Bowling tweeted, "Added 400 new ranks of 5 new Prestige levels in Modern Warfare 3 on PC in latest patch."

He then added, "Expect the same on consoles soon for everyone!"

There is no word as to when the prestige levels will be added to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, but the new five levels will also raise the maximum console prestige level to 15 as well.

Additional Information
- On Domination, both sides must be played and the highest total score wins
- On Capture the Flag, the highest total flag score wins, it is not decided on round wins. Teams must take note of the score at half time.
- In the event of a tie on Capture the Flag, stopwatch rules apply.
- Stopwatch rules state that you must replay the map. Upon the first flag capture, the host must end the game. The map is then restarted for a second time with teams switching spawns. The losing team must capture a flag within the same time that the winning team did. If they fail to do so, they lose the map. If a team captures two flags, they win the map
