Hey guys, and welcome to another betting analysis written by your good friend the Dak Dak Duck! Today, I'll be analyzing another pro match between eBettle and Epiphany Bolt. This is a BO3 Online match and both teams will be playing with their proper lineups.

eBettle

eBettle is certainly on the rise as a team, turning a lot of heads recently. Their first impressive feat was a stunning 25-23 over Titan allowing them to Qualify for Cologne, taking place later this month. Their success in this match can be attributed to the insane efforts of Hyper who carried his team to a great extent. In addition to this, they took out 1st place in the Gamers Assembly LAN with scorelines shown below

eBettle vs. ROCCAT (2-1) [16-12, 7-16, 22-18]
eBettle vs. Epiphany (2-0) [16-5, 16-11]
eBettle vs. ROCCAT (16-13)
eBettle vs. Epiphany (22-19)
eBettle vs. HellRaisers (16-14)

It's rather interesting to note that eBettle has played Epiphany twice in very recent times, with them recently beating them in a strong, 2-0 fashion at the Gamers Assembly LAN and, in the opposite fashion, just managing to close out a win against the team with a 22-19 scoreline in the ESL qualifiers. The map in the best of 1 was train, a map that eBettle managed to defeat Titan on with a similar scoreline, so whether it was a shaky performance by eB or the opposite from Epiphany Bolt is up to question, but more importantly, eBettle, a week ago exactly, closed out a much more dominant win over this side. Though this match is online, I still believe that they'll have a dominant performance in this match.


Epiphany Bolt

So, EP is relatively new to lounge and minus the xFunction masters, have only played in leagues and qualifiers that eB have. These two teams clashed during the Gamers Assembly LAN and eB won dominantly whilst in the ESL Qualifiers (more important for both teams) eBettle only just managed to close out a win. The other results for EP are shown below

Epiphany vs Unleashed (16-14)
Jyntta vs. Epiphany (16-4)
Epiphany vs. Lions (16-8)
Playing Ducks vs. Epiphany (2-1) [forfeit on third but PD were up 14-4]

Other than this, we haven't really got much to go on for EP. Their only available online performance we have is against Playing Ducks, in which they looked, to be blunt, very poor. They were very uncoordinated in their plays and all players often failed to clear sites and check corners thoroughly. Although all teams have rough games, they showed a lot of weakness in this match. I believe that, based on their results they are weaker than eB.


Conclusion

Based on their strong performances that I've witnessed from eB, skillwise they certainly have the upper hand coming into this match. They've beaten EP twice recently (one scoreline being close, but their most recent being a very one sided 2-0) and shown in their triumph in the same LAN and with strong results online that they're improving every game and on the rise in their scene. It should be considered that, like a number of teams in the past, pre-major performances are often not true reflections of a team as often they hide strategies so other teams cannot analyze demos but regardless eB is a team with stronger aimers and strategies and should take this BO3 pretty easily.

Hey guys! Dakdakduck here comin' at ya with another super hot and spicy betting analysis. Today, I will be analyzing another match, this time between the rising stars of the CIS scene Phenomenon and a shell-of-themselves Nerdrage. This match is on LAN and NR will be missing Cadian, Blackpoison and VilliG



Phenomenon
Many a CSGO bettor would be familiar with this team name, as they're featured very often on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ often participating in the weekly 'Rising Tornado' tournament (and the occasional other league). In the past few months they have really gelled as a team, improving their map flaws and developing enough to beat higher ranked teams. The first time they were featured on lounge was against a team named tm.Uragan in the Mayan LAN (they have prior LAN experience with this lineup) against teams such as Piter and New Era. As for their recent results, they are as follows.



Phenomenon vs. Crystallize (2-0) [16-11, 16-2]

This was the first match of this LAN, in which the maps were Mirage (traditionally, a weaker map for Phenom) and Cache (their strongest map) Though they had a rougher time on Mirage they looked rather prepared for this LAN and definitely played to a high standard.

Reason vs. Phenomenon (2-0) [16-7, 16-14]

TeamSwagYolo vs. Phenomenon (2-1) [7-16, 16-14, 16-6]

Phenomenon vs. Enso (2-1) [16-6, 11-16, 16-11]



So it can be seen that Phenomenon, within their region, get some pretty mixed results. Matches against the old Evolution, TEAMSWAGYOLO and such teams would often be a tossup with any result possible, but Phenom showing form throughout. They're towards the top of the CIS region and are a force to be reckoned with in this LAN. If 1uke can hold his own then all is going for them.





NerdRage
So, prior to their roster change, NR was another team on the rise taking out some solid results against other similar tier teams. jOELZ, notorious for strong online performances (jOELZ on LAN? I aren't think that) often plays a very strong part in this team alongside VilliG, CadiaN and Blackpoison, all players who unfortunately will not be participating tonight.

Nerdrage vs. EOU (2-1) [5-16, 16-8, 16-10] This was the first match for NR of this tournament and they looked very shaky. Though they closed out the win it certainly took them a while to warm up and that's worrying considering PH is a pretty strong team on LAN and had much more of a definitive performance yesterday

Their performances prior to this can be disregarded as we're basically seeing a new, fresh team here.





Conclusion
Normally, I would say that Phenomenon is somewhat below the level of teams that Nerdrage has comfortably overtaken in the past but considering the fact that NR have subsitutes and looked rather shaky as opposed to Phenomenon, the odds are looking fantastic for an underdog bet here. Phenomenon certainly has the skill to take out the match, it just depends on whether or not NR can gel in time.
