Peter Byron has been offered to go back to the State of Texas, and lead it as a Republic, as he previously had. With that in mind he will sign as One Year Truce with the New American Republic. He will be incontrol of the three most Southern Provinces along the Mexican border. He will not be harmed. He will be forced to abolish Slavery, and therefore hand over all previous lands, not states in the above text, to the New American Republic, where it shall be rulled on the platform of Freedom, Strength, and democracy.

I have dispatched The first company of Mosby's Raiders to search Richmond for Peter Byron, he and his family are to be brought back to the position of the council, neither him nore his family will be harmed. This coward must not be allowed to escape the country or stay long enough to take control of one of the many armies the traitor raises.
