Agent Smith (eng.) - was an Agent of the Matrix and the main antagonist of the series. After being initially destroyed by Neo, he became an Exile program and manifested as a computer virus. He is consistently able to genuinely threaten Neo, and later the Machines and the Matrix itself. In the films, he is portrayed by Hugo Weaving.
