The loud sound of troops marching, and horses galloping can be heard as the victorious forces of Bretonnia and allies returned to castle Montfort with the victory banner high in the air. The village of Poussenc and Tharravil has been saved from an Greenskin invasion. The head of the Orc Warboss would be held by Sir Lorens, who would later then toss the head towards a fanatical group of battle pilgrims. Many peasants within the road would give a cheerful yell, praising the knight’s bravery and skill as they slowly trod by them. As they eventually made their way to the gates of Castle Montfort, the trumpet players would sound off, and the banners of the duke would roll down from the walls, giving thanks to the glorious soldiers.

It was a wonderful day, but only for the victorious Bretons. But, the Greenskins still resided within Axe Bite Pass. Many who have retreated into the Grey mountains would begin to muster up their forces yet again for another Waaagh! Duke Folcard would expect this, as his years of fighting Greenskins have taught him much. The victory parade was cut short as he readied his forces yet again. He would send word to Reikland, who would be more than happy to assist the Bretonnian counterstrike.

The rallying field outside Castle Montfort would have many local peasants who are setting up camp for the knights as they quickly rode in with all of their fashion and glory. Knights Errant and Questing Knights would dismount as they made their way to Sir Lorens (AKA Sir Gamet). Behind them, would be a mass of local Men-At-Arms, all holding several rusted weapons while laughing about as they join the peasants in the construction. This common sigh would quickly be broken, as regiments from the Southern Realms march to the rallying field, bringing jealously and rivalry between themselves and the Bretonnian Knights who see them as glorified peasants, who are trying to make a quick coin. That, and small bands of Imperial Knights would also join in this cause as the passage between Southern Bretonnia and the Empire of Sigmar is rather important, and both are eager to help each other.

Although a few strange occurrences has appeared, such as raining salt water, and an undead lord making his way across the camp and “threatening everyone”, all was very well. As for now, the forces of Duke Folcard of Montfort will soon march towards Axe Bite Pass, ready and eager to drive a wedge against the Green tide that has swept away the passage way in the first place.

The Dutchy of Montfort has raised its banners and blown its horns across the realm! Despite their best efforts, they cannot dislodge the Greenskin from Axe Bite pass, and has now call the realm of Bretonnia for help. Duke Folcard of Montfort is without a doubt a man of honor, strictly following the laws of chivalry. But in this dire situation, he was advised to hire many men from outside of Bretonnia, as well as seek help from distant nations. As expected, many adventurers who sought out opportunity, came flocking to Castle Montfort to pledge their aid to Duke Folcard. Lorens d‘Montford is now meeting with these people, in order to have an idea what their potential and abilities are.

Despite the best efforts of both Bretonnia and the Empire, the mountainous passage between both nations has been blocked off by the Greenskin tribe known as the Skullsmasherz. Few Bretonnian castles under the protection of Duke Folcard of Montfort, still hold against all odds in the high mountains. But it is only a matter of time before these fortresses fall. Yeomen and Knights Errant have done their best to wither the numbers of the Greenskins, but as of now, it would take a major force to drive a wedge into the pass.

Empire gold and Bretonnian chivalry has brought the interest of many outsiders to clear up this rich passage way, so the merchants of both nations can continue with their goods.
