With recent developments and the presence of Greeks once more across Anatolia and Antioch, the question has arisen on the Greco-Roman Identity. Under the Eastern Roman [Byzantine Empire], we've referred to ourselves as Romaioi "Romans", and recently this name has come back into use in Hellas politics. Additionally, with the recovery of Pontus and the Christianoi "Christians" areas across Turkey, many monasteries and Hellenistic sites have been rebuilt through Greek funding. The growth of the Graikoi & Christianoi populations across Anatolia due to efforts from Athens have sparked a new topic among the political atmosphere of Hellas. The topic which includes the formal absorbing of the regions under assigned Greek protection.

The return to Constantinopolis and liberation of the immensely suppressed communities despite the many pogroms and atrocities have been widely displayed in the Greek & Western Media, which sparked international backlash to the Osman government in Turkey. With the passing of HM Paul I of Greece this year due to medical issues and failed recovery from surgery, the crown has passed to Constantine II of Greece. Who has been also crowned Constantine XIII of Constantinopolis, a legitimate successor to Constantine XI Palaiologos, as was his father Constantine I (XII). Across Hellas, the lands of Anatolia and Antioch, a new dawn has come with the reign of Constantine XIII. First move, is the formal reestablishment of the Eastern Roman Empire [Byzantium] with the capital situated in Athens, and it's official capital in Constantinopolis under duel-Greco-Turkish administration as by the Smyrna treaty.

The reestablishment of the Basileía Rhōmaíōn is revolutionary for Hellas. The continued Hellenisation of the regions under Athens protection will go unhalted as guaranteed by the Treaty of Smyrna. Literature and Philosophy of Ancient Greece is to become more widespread amongst the population, to revive a sense of Roman identity among Hellas. As we, the legal successors of Rome shall step once more into the lands of our ancestors- may God bless our restoration and Basileía Rhōmaíōn!
