FOR ALL MELBOURNE PC LAN GAMERS:
After Computer Games Boot Camp 2010, I started up a LAN called BlueScreen LANs (you might remember the name BlueScreen from the CGBC ladder =P). We don't have a full website yet, but if you're interested in attending future events (on school holidays, usually a Saturday), I'll notify members of the Steam/Facebook groups of upcoming events and link to the registrations site. If not, just opt to leave the group, no problem.
The hall we typically use supports around 40 gamers, but we can relocate if we outgrow it!
We typically play CoD4, TF2, SC2, L4D2, Minecraft, and any others suggested on the day.
We are local to the Kew/Hawthorn area, and depending on how many people are coming, each event is a mere $10! (basically only to cover hall hire) - we may be able to make it cheaper in future if more people come, so invite your friends!
You will need to bring extra moneys however, for food at lunch/dinner. We will also have cans of soft drink available for $1.50 eaches!
I hope to see the registrations list Full next time!

BlueScreen is a leech-free LAN as our network simply can't cope with that kind of traffic, sorry. Please bring a portable hard drive if you're interested in file-sharing.

Just a quick update:

Due to the regular hall being unavailable, the price for this event is $20.
It's looking like we'll be at the Abbotsford Convent, and I'm finalising that later this week.
Soft-drink will be available for $1.50.
Let me know if you're able to help set up or pack up, since the faster that gets done, the more gaming can happen =)

To access the website, you will need to use the following login:
username: gamer
password: pwnage
Once you have access to the website, you will need to create your own account (but you will still need to use the above login to access the site itself)
I have placed a booking for the hall, but am awaiting confirmation. We can always find another (bigger?) hall if this one is unavailable.
I will be keeping track of who RSVPs when, so it might be a bit of a rush filling the 40 places available (please note this number is an estimate, and I will be going down to measure up the hall to come up with more seats, hopefully!)
