SFM animation to Blender
To make sure I understand what's happening. By zeroing out the rootTransform, I'm effectivley making the model move away from the 'default position'. So while the root of the model is centered in Blender, the model actually moves away from that point, allowing the animation to look correct. Is that right?
That worked! Thank you so much!
When I import my animations from SFM into Blender, the models are stuck in place. A character running forward just runs in place instead. I've been told this is because SFM uses a rootTransform to control the model's position, and Blender does not have this bone. Not sure if this should be posted in the "General Blender Help" or if it falls under BST. Is there a way to preserve this motion that I am missing?
