Studiomdl optimizes unused bones if they are not animated or don't have $definebone line or they don't have attachment attached to it

Can you upload releases to GitHub as well?

Engine path is needed if you want to launch compile .qc from Blender. It's not required to export smds and dmxes. You can compile later with studiomdl.exe directly or use helper like Crowbar.
