Error after exporting
There wan an error during compile. Put compile log here.

Replacing/Merging the valve skeleton onto a ported model
Vertex Groups are just kept. There is a trick, you can just change armature of model to Valve's one and re-name respective vertex groups to Valve's armature bones, though the result might be not so perfect.

crowbar says Too many bone influences per vertex
in blender, enable Weight Link Cull Threshold. Re-export model.

Vertices exported incorrectly with SMD bone animations
You could add SWEP.ViewModelFlip = true into your lua code so it is mirrored without messing with model.
