I've never seen those options before. You had a modified version of the tools installed. If you can remember where it came from, that would be really helpful.

The only part of a material that the tools care about is its name, so there is no possibility of messing with it on import.

If you really want to have multiple materials with the same name, have you tried importing your meshes into different .blend files and then linking them together into a central one? That will give each mesh its own "namespace".

Blender doesn't have a real animation manager, and doesn't support associating multiple animations to one object.

Instead you have to manually change the action assigned to the armature object. There's a selector control in the Source Tools to help with this: select your armature in the Exportables panel and you will see it appear.

You have changed the model's reference skeleton, which means that the standard animations are now being played back from a different starting position. You will need to re-make all of them if you want to proceed.

You posted your script on my profile page. The custom properties that the tools define have been moved onto one object, "vs". You need to change your script so that it sets properties like this:
