Blender Export Error : FYI
I was having difficulty exporting a model. Blender Source Tools was throwing an error like this

Probable FIX:

If you get an error like this, MAKE SURE ALL THE MODEL COLLECTIONS (especially the Armature) are turned on and visible. The model should then export.

Compile Errors out if folder doesn't exist (Not a Bug)

Yes, I know.
Like I say, this not a bug, but I'm looking for suggestions as to what I have to set on this computer in order for this error not to happen.
I can compile using 2.79 without having to set up a folder, but since converting to 2.8x on this machine, I get this error from the compiler if I don't.
I've checked permissions, AVP settings and anything else I can think of, but for some reason, I keep getting this error if I don't set up a folder.
It's just strange because I can write from Blender 2.8x using BleST to the game locations on other computers on the system.
This is not a bug, it's some setting that I have missed somewhere and I'm hoping someone can tell me what I have to do to fix it.

Whenever I compile a model using BleST from Blender and the compile folder does not exist the compile errors out with an error like

Error opening D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\models/workshop\models\player\sniper\items\duster\duduster_pj.mdl! (Check for write enable)

Can someone suggest to me what I have to change to give the write permission to the compiler.

I know that the folder is write enabled and I have checked the program control of my AVP and have set Blender and studiomdl.exe to trusted programs.

This behaviour started with 2.80 and now in to 2.81a and I know I'm missing something here because as soon as I create the folder path the compile works without a problem.

Suggestions, Please???

What's up with "Multiple armature detected" error everytime I export something
At least for those that run into the problem, they now have 2 fixes.
When you get this "warning", either unparent the mesh objects from the armature OR select the mesh objects, press M and move them to the Armature Collection. That should take care of the problem.

BST always export all Amature Bones to Animation SMDs
Unparent the objects from the armature and rely on the armature modifier to handle the job or move the mesh object(s) to the armature collection usually takes care of the multiple armature warning.

What about exporting as Hammer map?
If you want to request additional functionality in Blender, you should use an actual Blender development web site discussion area. Not Steam. LOL
Not from Blender that I know of. There is an addon for Maya called WallWorm that I think allows you to edit maps, but for Blender, I haven't found one.

Now coming from Source into Blender, there is a way to do it using Crafty, if Crafty will load the map....

Bone constraints not exporting properly
The last time I had something like that happen was when I was importing DAE files from Mixamo.
