there's no fix to that, or maybe I don't know how to fix but what you can do is that you can use propper++ (It comes with hammer++), it can turn brush into a prop and if geometry of your prop isn't too complex hitboxes will be almost perfect

I can only find vmdlc files, i used both gcfscape and source2viewer, crowbar can't covert these files into pngs, maybe those aren't the textures?

here are the folders inside the de_nuke.vpk:

you dont need crowbar to convert it to png, you need VTFedit and there are two types of texture files in hl, VTF and VMT. VTF is texture itself, VMT is the script of this texture. all you have to do is open VPK hl2_tesxture_dir.vpk (it contains VTF textures in materials folder) and open them in VTFedit. After doing all of this you can now just export them as PNG files and thats it

its pretty easy actually, just convert vtf to png and use this png texture on model, that method works if you want to use this texture in blender, now if you want to use the texture on fully ready model which is imported into a hammer/game then you have to make new folder in materials and call it models

My example
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\models\[material folder name (it can be any name you want)]

now the name of the texture in folder should be same as the name of the texture in blender otherwise prop will be without texture in game.

You need software called crowbar and you need two 3D models, one is actuall model and the other one is a collision, and also you need source tools for blender. You have to export model and collision model as SMD and then make "qc" file, qc file ia basically a script for model, after all of that, compile your model in crowbar and done. Also about texture of model, the name of the texture in the game files should be same as a name of that same texture in blender, hope that helps.

what do you mean by "vertices are in the same position and on export they merge"? can you show screenshots?

maybe you should enter desktop mod, I can't really tell, don't have steamdeck sry

I fixed this collision problem, i just added thickness to every face in blender and it worked:p
