It's pretty much good.as long as you are downloading from the real website.just click allow any way
If it's something else I don't know what to tell you

Try decompileng it and importing it while you have the vvd & dx90.vtx files nearby

If you have a smd file of a TF2 character.you can try and use it as a reference scale
If not.try adding $scale to the QC(1 to be short.2 to be In the middle. Or 3 if wanted to be large)

Try toggleing the system console.it should tell you what the error is.which can be a variety of things(like bad command.cant load smd/DMX file.missing the / or ")
Also I hear it's a complicated model.try using a DMX format which has an option to lower the weights without going into weight paint more)

If you were weight painting in blender and moved them around to get to certain areas then go back into object mode to export it.it may happen.I think.

Try putting the QC like this
$modelname "(insert name)".mdl(make sure it's in the folder you picked)
$body anon "(insert name)".SMD
$cdmatireials"(material path)/(material file name)"
$Sequence idle "(copy and paste the SMD name) fps 30

That should work as it sounds similar to what I had.if that doesn't work idk what to tell you.good luck 🤞

You need to use a more recent version of Blender.

I added an armature.should that help?my computer can't run the blender 4.0 or above

The console says "attribute error: 'object' has no attribute 'session uid'"& in blender itself(3.1.1 if anyone is wondering)is saying it's either something to do with my QC file or studiomdl
Please help
