Something is off with the import/export feature...
here is the blend file: http://pasteall.org/blend/index.php?id=50397
Something has been funky with the weights of the models i've been importing from source for a project, and i did a little test to show you all what i mean. So what i did is...
  • Subdivided the top of a basic cube in blender.
  • Wrote "test" on the top of the cube in weights.
  • Exported the cube using ver. 2.10.2 of Import-Export: Blender Source Tools as an .SMD file.
  • Imported the cube back to blender using the same Blender Source Tools used to export.

Here is how it came out...

My question is, is this a bug with Blender source tools, or is there something i'm missing here?
