The smd and dmx files include shape keys. Also, the animation was exported in the process.
I renamed some bones that were weighted to the head, which also had facial flexes. Then when I exported as a .dmx and compiled it., the head model went crazy. But, when I export as .smd, there are no issues. I also tried removing all the shape keys before exporting, but same problem.

How do people create the same facial flexes that HL2 models have?
Oh, so the poeple who use the HL2 flexes have to do it manually.
This might be a bad question, but when I was going around the .qc files, I saw similarities between other people's models and the HL2 models.
