Well..no.

Say I had a flex for eye or mouth movement, importing it into Blender just discarded those flex animations.

The flexes are recognised in Blender but not animated if you import a .dmx that has those flexes animated.

Does exporting flex animations work now?

It's literally any animation. I'll find one that demonstrates it.

Is there a way around this? It's making smooth animations look really not nice.

When I import an animation from SFM into Blender, it's not 100% the same animation. There will be some bones that are moving around that weren't actually animated.

Is this a common thing or what's going on?

I made an animation in SFM and imported it into Blender with the right model. It works but all Flex animations are lost. Blender seems to think that the Flex anims are bones and not Blendshapes.

Is there a way around that or am I missing something?
