Japanese unicode problems while exporting
Hello, I'm very new to blender and I'm trying to covert a Kagamine Rin .pmx model from MMD to .dmx for source and gmod and I'm having significant difficulties. First I use a mmd exporter tool to export the mmd model to blender which works fine.

The problem is when I try to export it to .dmx with the source tool. It gives me a bunch of warnings that the name of objects contain unicode characters and may not compile correctly. Lo and behold, the model as well as it's textures turn out very distorted. Anyone in the know of how to resolve this issue? I am at my WITS END
