Install bug
Uhm... I'm sorry if it is not allowed to post this message here.
Well, whenever i'm trying to install source tools from file using "user preferences" menu, i've got an error ( http://imgdepo.ru/show/5361693 - picture ). Extracting archive into Blender folder also doesn't work.
I tried to use different versions of Blender or Source tools: 2.6, 2.6a, 2.69 with 1.10.1 and 1.10.2 source tools, but it caused the same result. I have Windows 32 bit. What can i do? Thank you.

Hm. I have no idea what could cause that. [Note that I am [b]not[/b] the author of the Blender Source Tools, though.] I use Blender 2.69, with version 1.10.2 of the Source Tools, and it works just fine for me. Are you sure you do not rename the .zip, and that you do NOT extract it, and then select it via "Install addon from file"?

Yes, sure. Just tried again, following the instruction, but still no result...

Also, picture with command line appearing after error: http://imgdepo.ru/show/5362027

This is a known Blender/Python bug caused by having non-ASCII characters in your Windows user profile name.

You can work around it by creating a new user account, or by manually extracting the Tools to the Blender\2.69\scripts\addons\ folder under Program Files.

I really have cyrillic characters in my profile name. But, unfortunately, creating new user with the latin characters and manually extracting didn't help. But i guess i'm doing something wrong. Thank you for your answer!

It might also be possible to put the .zip somewhere outside of a user folder's subfolders. (Like a portable harddrive or something.) Like "[Drive letter]:/Blender Addons/", and then picking that via Blender's addons tab.

Oh, thank you, i'll try it too.

It doesn't help if you don't tell me how it goes before saying "I have this problem".

If i install the addon manually i am getting this error on enabling it http://SSMaker.ru/425b7de3/

And when i hit refresh it gets me this error http://SSMaker.ru/6944cfa8/

Try placing the .zip somewhere else, like "[Drive letter]:/Blender Addons/". Tell me the result.

Ok, fixed by deleting the appdata addons folder

Try setting the "engine path" to Team Fortress 2's bin folder, and re-export (or set the export type to SMD). (I don't think ep1 allows DMX entirely.)

That's a UI bug, sorrry! You need to clear Engine Path, set the Export Type to SMD, then set the Engine Path again. That will be fixed in the next release.
