HOW TO EXPORT DMX TO DOTA 2 WORKSHOP TOOLS?
Hello, there are a lot of bugs with the new exporter im gussing. does anyone know how to export a dmx mesh along with its animation to the new dota 2 workshop tools ? please help!

i managed to export , but the scale is messed up for some reason, does anyone know how to fix that? also the scale in blender is correctly set up and matching the default ward model. and i have also tried exporting in fbx and it worked fine as well. please help!

From what I know, you can export the mesh or the armature, but not both together. You can use the hammer editor to export the mesh as an object, and use s2fm to export the armature (idk about the animations those seem bugged).

Basically since there isn't a way to decompile vmesh, if you want heroes, you're better off using the workshop reference files here: http://www.dota2.com/workshop/requirements

hmm, it isnt a static item to be exported. it's a ward model. i will give it a try and update you. Thank you very much! :)

It doesn't work. the model exported as well as the animation. but the scale is still messed up

please help!

The export looks correct. You need to increase the scale of your model in Blender.
