Custom Arms (Weird Issue When Walking)
Hello guys, i have some questions. When you add custom arms and animations into the qc of a 3rd person model would you need to replace this $includemodel "player/medic_animations.mdl" with your own path i also see $includemodel "player/medic_user_animations.mdl" which 1 do i replace with my custom path can i comment 1 of them out and replace the other with my custom path. Also i don't see anything to replace for arms so would i have to add my own line $includemodel "player/custom_arms.mdl" but just by adding that how does the qc know to actually use the custom arms? and isn't arms linked to the animaitons so why is $includemodel "player/medic_animations.mdl" needed if that's the case lastly do i need to do anything with $BodyGroup for it to work?






On A Side Note when walking the animation suddenly twists like crazy this only occurs sometimes but it's annoying and i don't see how it occurs in the 1st place and blender cannot produce it take a look at this 30 second video for a better understanding any help would be appreciated thanks

for the animation, it seems to be the critical animation has an error by one frame judging by how it only appears during a random crit, try checking the animation for any awkward rotation (one of the keyframes seems to be rotated in the wrong direction)
I'm guessing it only appears sometimes for you during a crit as you may be losing frames, the keyframe seems to be only one frame as well (this is guesswork)
try previewing the animation in sfm with the time slowed down, or maybe in blender with a shorter timescale

forgot to give him textures but take a look how it jumps crazy sometimes as you can see using host_timescale
