[INVALID] Problem with exporting
I tried to export to .smd but I ran into some trouble :(

Are you trying to export an object with a name that contains non-English characters?

No, it's all in English. I'm an American so I wouldn't see why I would do that. Please help b0ss.

The error is that a character in the name of a bone can't be converted to ASCII. You should check the names of each one to make sure that there's nothing strange in any of them.

The easiest way to do that is by changing the Outliner to Datablock view (it's probably "All Scenes" right now), then expanding Armatures > your armature > Bones.

Alright, all of the bones are named in a square character. Blender restricts me of renaming any of them. Is there any way around that?

How do I rename them? I can't find a way around it like I did with the armatures. Also, anything else that has bad names? I'd like to get that covered.

Shape keys are listed in Mesh Properties.

The only other names that are exported to SMD are those for materials (or per-face textures).
