ABOUT Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta

Just a group for the people taking part in the beta testing of the up coming title Battlefield Bad Company 2.

There will be a ventrilo coming for the release of the beta so we can all catch up on the bugs and glitches .




Side note : Beta servers will be hosted in These contries (Official Servers)

Beta will be region free w/ servers in US, Western & Eastern Europe, South Africa, Brazil, Middle East, Oz, New Zealand, & Japan.



!!! NOTE THE BETA LINK WILL NOT WORK UNTIL THE 28TH OF THIS MONTH !!!




Beta will appear in "My Games" tab on steam no news yet of a pre load but hopefully :)

Well temp fix atm just for the beta client until steam releases a full time fix.


Navigate to your documents folder/BFBC2 beta/settings.ini/


Then scroll down to bottom and see where it says

DxVersion=auto

change that to

DxVersion=9



Then save , this will run the game in dx9 making almost no difference to graphics but making it smoother and steam also works like that :)
