24/7 Hosted Fourth Iteration of SOTB

SOTB Resurrection Project Begun

It has been long since Server of The Baers fell, and we have all wondered about those days and where it all went wrong... I gathered all of the veterans of SOTB(Server of The Baers) to reminisce and be friends again as we have drifted since those glorious days, to reconnect in none other than the old and beautiful emotion-filled map of Server of The Baers... The classic.

We roamed around, reminiscing and joking about these times, but we caught onto something... horrid. We discovered an old (and successful) plot to topple not only Valkyria but the entire Server of The Baers out of either a sick dopamine rush for villains or a grudge, whatever it was it is absolutely sickening to our very core.







There was a player with the name "Djordjano" but we shall refer to him as "julian". This julian came to our original Server of The Baers during it's final months of life to what was seemingly to learn about our history and be a genuine part of it.. He was keen on listening and he knew it all after a time, he invited his friends "pale71", "czeckslovakbeer", "uknown_Boddy", Master_Postal" and others now forgotten to create a faction called "Venlantia". This is quite an obscure part of our history as it all happened so fast and was not so important really. julian wanted to use his nation of Venlantia to do.. a number of things, firstly on the surface to protect our history by placing his flag in sites of griefed destruction with a sign saying "Venlantian historical site, DO NOT TOUCH". I was convinced by julian to step down as High King of Valkyria and to let Alexman25 become the new Ruler out of a sort of wholesome 'the end is nigh anyway what's the worst that could happen? he has been with us since the beginning so let him have it', the thing about Alexman is that he is INFAMOUS for being a command block crazy man and conducting command experiments and mob experiments that destroy the server CONSTANTLY and always has us using our Holy Backups because he killed the server outright many many times in our Glory Days, but we loved his shenanigans and could never stop laughing at them and being SUPER angry with him at the same time, you can even STILL wander out far and find mobs that jump SUPER high, run SUPER fast, are invincible, fly that shouldn't, and even random structures to this day. Anyway, julian then commenced his true plan to topple us completely. He(julian) sent out his members to grief many minor locations and one major Holy grave site to us: Maroon Baer City. julian himself set fire to Statue Jesus's head of knowledge and TNT the ruined city, the place of Holy Mourning for us all and Baconuisrex especially so, and then proceeded to THROW Baconuisrex UNDER THE BUS! He accused Plague(Baconuisrex) of destroying things and going mad. I learned about this from julian and believed him because me and Plague's relationship was sort of moody at the time... friends but we had a lot of beef and did not exactly like each other too much but still respected each other so it made sense to me that this was indeed true. I banned Plague, and Venlantia the snake nation lived on while our brethren were manipulated and turned on one another, divided and ultimately divided conquered to a sick plot. I did not think of it so much as given the emotions of the time we fell to the lies, lies we did not know of noir could be able to prove with solid evidence until now.







Some years later we decided to do something... similar.. to what we have undertaken to do now. Server of The Baers IV was a project we all undertook once to revive SOTB's map and fix all the greifing destruction, except the server was being hosted by julian. Yup, we trusted him with this. Sidenote we went into Valkyria in this time and saw that Alexman25 had done it. He WorldEdit copy+pasted a single structure ALL OVER VALKYRIA as well as the Overworld! destroying blocks clogging the throne room and ruining the whole build. I asked Alexman25 WHY and he said he was angry, like the server was a Newgrounds kill your boss game or something to take his anger out on, anyways.. Server of The Baers IV had this purpose, this is where we announced the reconstruction, and where we were unknowingly until now tricked. We had reached our goal, we rebuilt my Mansion, Maroon Baer City, improved Valkyria GREATLY, Rebuilt the Mead Hall of The Maroon Baers, and many more things... Then we all cried and shouted for the version to be updated so we could add even more things! To 1.16!!!! julian switched it, and then.... it happened. The server was dead and the map corrupt. According to julian it's because this version is unstable with the map SOMEHOW and fed us crap that we ate up. He waited for us to completely rebuild it all and have full hope to take it away from us, the disappointing failure of Server of The Baers IV. Slowly I began to pick up on his(julian) devious nature and broke off with him.







It is now 2021, our mission is the complete Resurrection of Server of The Baers and the Resurrection of the same classic map entirely, a restart of all our progress with a diligent and passionate labor of love.

The version we are playing on is 1.16.5. Something is not right. Continuing off from the first paragraph we knew something was wrong, we were amazed. I stumbled upon Venlantia's main base that had no real warp, and found it.

This julian, leader of Venlantia, host of our past Resurrection project, OUTRIGHT ADMITS WITH GREAT PRIDE of what he has done to us.

In this book "The End by Djordjano" julian outright admits to sending his men to grief our monuments in the overworld, destroying our and our allies's creations, burning Jesus's head, sending his followers to destroy many locations elsewhere and then in the end goes on to say in the end (small excerpt):

"Bacon[Baconuisrex] got very angry.
Alex[Alexman25] became new king of valkyria.

What can I say.
Feels like a worthy ending for this server."

With pride in this solid evidence of his HIGH TREASON he speaks of his wrongdoings, of how he manipulated us and made us go at each other's throats, how he destroyed us! This manifesto of his was the final straw!!







We have decided to take this into our own hands!!! We have decided that we Valkyrians WILL NOT be destroyed like this, we cannot allow ourselves to be so utterly manipulated and do nothing about it, despite Valkyria and Minecraft this server was OURS, a place of our Childhoods that shaped us and one of our greatest memories!!!

It killed us to know that the map of our server was left how it was, with all the emotion of anger, DECEIT, destruction and bad blood, all standing the test of time over the good memories. We have decided to right this wrong and TRULY Resurrect Server of The Baers's map and (probably) even the actual server as it was and give out the IP to all wanting to participate in the new coming chapter of it's life. This project is in direct spite to all of those who wronged us, two putrid punk terrorists whose names I will not name giving the first blow to SOTB on that one horrible day destroying Maroon Baer City and our great Mansion, julian and his manipulation and destruction, Alexman25's crybaby episode that can be seen throughout everywhere, and even our own drama's destruction from before these incidents. This is also a healing process and a great tribute to a beautiful part of our childhood and to do it justice by Resurrecting the map above and beyond what we did before, and with US as the host, keeping many backups.

So far we are perhaps halfway there, if not more. Valkyria is 95% complete with improvements and additions and 100% complete with reconstruction, fitting Valkyrian architecture with an evolutionary blend of Hellenic Roman Quartz, District improvements and additions and a Colosseum Arena Disctrict where games will be held, the whole city is alive. Maroon Baer City is being reconstructed faithfully, the Mansion will also be extinguished. The Mead Hall of The Maroon Baers overhauled entirely by Plague himself and the Maroon Baers given an evolved identity as well. These and many more are on our TODO list of Resurrection.

All users involved with Venlantia are no longer welcome here, as well as The Zasx Order; a Cult which plotted to take over Valkyria by slowly replacing our banners/flags with their own over a long course of time and infiltrate their way into our echelons of power. The Zasx Order's Embassy has been cleared for a new embassy, their flags destroyed and replaced with Valkyrian ones, their strongholds depreciated and destroyed. Venlantia's main base bombed to smithereens and their flags and signs broken, as well as what was left of their "Hoffnung". Alexman25's crap removed from the Overworld. The healing shall begin.
