Titan vs. SR

Microsoftword's Prediction:
In all honesty, this should be a pretty straight forward match for Titan. They have recently acquired the headshot machine, ScreaM and although this is his first match on Titan, he has a lot of history with his now team mates so he should feel right at home. Skyred is the second best asian team, coming after QeeYou. There are some nutty players on Skyred like ‘crazyguy’ who is sporting an INSANE 1.69 rating on HLTV. JohnnyP is also one of the best, if not the best AWPer from Asia.

Despite all of this, I just don’t think that you can really compare Skyred to Titan. Although Skyred may be good for their region, their region is marginally weaker than Titan’s. The current odds are 95-5 favoring Titan, and this is a horrible bet unless you want to go for overpay, but even then, you most likely won’t get any overpay and you’ll get a mountain of $0.04 skins in your returns.

Cybercookies Prediction:
Ok guys so not a whole lot to say here. Although SR seem to be a pretty good team in their current tier they are not playing against teams which are anything like Titan. Although Titan has gone under lots of changes recently they are still a tier 1 team with tier 1 players in it. It is extremely unlikely that this unheard of Vietnamese team will have any chance in a Bo3 against a team such as Titan.

Overall
I really cannot see SR having any chance in this game. Considering this game is a Bo3 there is almost no reason betting anything on SR, not even an ICB. My advice is that you skip this game unless you have a big enough inventory to get a $10+ return. This is because although it is almost certain that Titan will win this, the odds are so high on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that there is no point betting unless you bet enough to get a decent return.

Vexed vs. HR

Vexxed

Vexxed is the lineup of eBettle, just playing under a different name. They surprised everyone by qualifying and attending ESL One Cologne, where they didn’t do too well but the main thing is, is that they did qualify which is a huge achievement. With the name Vexxed, they have actually had a pretty good performance for a small Polish team like themselves. A few days ago, they beat ATB 2-0 at the ESL Polish Championship, and they tied VS Property too. They have also beat Fraternitas and KeyD (not LG lineup) this month.

Hellraisers

HR are definitely the favorites coming in to this match. With Dosia leaving, that has opened up a spot for s1mple to come on in and take up the role of AWPing. S1mple is a very solid AWPer and I do think that HR is the best team for him at the moment. Their most recent match with s1mple was on the 19th against the British team Infused. HR did end up winning 2-0, but on Cobblestone (2nd map) they did get forced into the last round and the map ended 16-14 in their favor. Definitely should not have been that close, but a win is a win. HR is in the ESL ESEA league, where they have to get fix instead of s1mple to play due to s1mple’s ESL ban, and that is a pretty big downgrade for the team.

Final thoughts

HR have more LAN experience and their lineup in general look stronger with big names. Though, it has been a bit of a jumble with their recent matches with fix coming in for the ESL ones and s1mple playing in everything else. HR can be very unpredictable at times, and although I do think they will win this, I won’t be better on them because I would just like to see what form they are currently on with s1mple and this also being a LAN match. I’ll be placing an ICB or perhaps a small bet on Vexxed.

FSid3 vs. CW

I’ll post this one quickly,

Match up between Flipsid3 and CPHWolves. Qualifier for DreamHack open in Stockholm. It is a best of 3 with the maps on TBA.

This match up is interesting due both teams having the same favorite map, Mirage. The problem with this match up is the difference between both teams. Fsid3 is a tier 2 and CPHWolves just a 3… It is hard to compare teams with this difference.

If we look at the latest results of mirage i would favor CPHWolves to win ( i’m almost 100% sure this map will be picked ). The latest results of them on this map are not amazing but they look better then the one Flipsid3 has.

If we take a look at the overall results of both teams i’m more satisfied with CPHWolves, they won from G2 and they had a total of 8 rounds against Envy on Mirage.

Flipsid3 seem to struggle a bit against different teams. They had an 1-1 ( best of 2 ) match against orbit and they almost lost it.

Long story short : I prefer CPHWolves to win this one. They can get rekt by flipsid3 but i’m just not satisfied with the plays flipsid3 had. A small bet or ICB on CPH wouldn’t be a bad call. You could go medium but i think the risk of losing is just to high.

SK vs. NR

SK

SK have been doing very well so far into the Game Agents league, coming 2nd with 12 points and they are just 2 points off from E-frag, who are currently coming 1st place. Their most recent game was against the Worst Players, where they 2-0’d them with pretty close scorelines on both maps and Mirage going into OT. A somewhat recent roster change for them was the removal of BERRY and the addition of k0nfig from Reason. K0nfig is a great player, and this change happened just over a week ago. Ever since the change, things haven’t been going too well, with SK facing BO1 defeats from teams like: CW, G2, Mouz, NiP, TSM and Na’vi. So out of all the games that k0nfig has played in for SK, all have been lost except their most recent game against Worst Players. Do keep in mind that SK are just a T2 team and they did VS quite a lot of good teams to get their losses.

NerdRage

NerdRage/Max And Relax have a lot of attention drawn to them because of the players that represent them. Lots of people claim that they cheat or throw during games and I now follow a new cheeky rule: go small on them when they are the underdog because seemingly that’s when they start to do well, and skip/bet against them when they are big overdogs because that’s when ‘throws’ come into play. That’s just a little something which I am going to start doing now. The two players that you should watch are Joelz and ayken. They have done extremely well in past games and have built a reputation for themselves. I reckon the outcome of the game will be determined on how well they play. They’ll just have to keep consistently fragging if NerdRage want to win.

Prediction

I’ll be placing a low bet on NerdRage in hopes that they do well as the underdogs in this match, but as I said before, the outcome of this match will probably be determined by how well Joelz and ayken play. This is a fairly risky one in my eyes, so I would advise you to bet wisely and if you can’t afford the loss, don’t bet at all.
