An (US/EU) RP community and server on ARK: Survival Evolved

We are an RP-PVP server that utilizes the Valhalla map. We have factions, a neutral PVE town called Haven for shopkeepers and RPers alike, and rules to protect against unnecessary griefing/KOS/constant raiding. We're here to RP and have fun doing it! That doesn't mean we don't PVP, because we do - there's plenty of wars to be had between tribes and factions alike!

Our backstory allows for characters from any time period, so feel free to RP your character from whenever you want. A viking, an Egyptian, a Roman or a modern American, it all works.

With the server stability returned we are going to be increasing recruiting and adjusting some of the rulesets. We will also be moving to using a reddit for our main communication channel as opposed to this group, this group will remain active however. We will be posting a whitelist to the reddit, and we will need everyone to fill that out when it happens. When we do the whitelist, the server password will likely change to ensure that we had everyone whitelist.

Also, some of the rules will be changing to make the server appeal to a wider audience. Those rules will be posted to the subreddit. When we get the rules finalized (sometime within the next 48 hours or so) we will ask for some feedback. However please realize that while we will consider suggestions, most of these rules are proven to work.

If you would like to pick my brain before any of these things happen I will be on my teamspeak server at 7p.m. EST on Monday night. Some of you have the info and I will post it up on here a bit before the dicussion. The idea of this discussion is for me to reassure you about the rules we want to change and put in place, and for you to understand our thought process on the situation.

Also, consider this post official warning that in 7 days from this post, any tribes that have not posted here, the whitelist, or have not reached out to myself, Cloyster, of Kurisu will be considered inactive and we will begin clearing up old structures and dinos that are cluttering the island. This is to allow for more open building with our push via reddit for recruitment.

Over the coming few weeks there will be many new faces emerging on the island, and some big new rules to adjust to. Hopefully I can alleviate any concerns during tomorrow's discussion.

so me and my groups been kinda mia for a while now but hopefully this month atleast me and michael will be back my internet is powered by a potatoe so i have not been able to play pretty much any mmos jason has been in the process of moivng out of state so his nets none existent and michael has been working overtime

Send them over to the reddit to whitelist, that will be how people join :)

how can my friend join up with the group and the server? shall i direct him to girls as we all did before to get a group invite or is there a new way to recrute people now?

ATTENTION: New password is now active, in order to recieve the new password please whitelist on our subreddit: www.reddit.com/r/elysiumrp we will be using this as our means of communication and moving more and more away from using the steam group. Also, for whitelisting by March 1st you will recieve 1 dino recolor on any dino of your choice!! Speak to Cloyster for more details on the recolor!

To follow up Zorn's last comment, this means the server password will be changing very soon. We will send the new password to everyone who whitelist on the subreddit. (Except Girls, we will be sending it to you of course :p)

Heads up guys! Anyone who has not been active or has not reached out to me, i will be removing old unused structures and dinos from the island as tomorrow will start our big push for recruitment via reddit. We should see plenty of new faces coming into the island and i would prefer to not have a bunch of abandoned structures and dinos about. It also seems that structure decay has removed some bases that were already inactive. If for some reason you base is removed and you did not realize this was coming ( i posted about it last weeek) please reach out to me and i will help you get back on your feet.
