This Group is looking forward to be chosen as the official (Steam Translation - Arabic) when Arabic is added to the Steam Supported Languages. The Group is for the people who are ready to or want to translate and for those who are willing to help us in each step we make on translating Steam to Arabic. Arabians and non-Arabians are welcomed.

We request that you help us in translating games on this website by doing the following :

Still I haven't got you. Arabic is readable on browser normally, but not in games.
Unless I misunderstood, the idea is in creating a designed r-t-l system for the pages/writing styles' of Store, Community and such, as well as the Steam Client. Take a look at the Group description above as an example, the Arabic lines start from the left side, not the right side as supposed. So to change the style of pages to fit the r-t-l languages, they would be changed to this as another example: http://i.imgur.com/KXr11vS.png .
Just from the look of it, this is hard and will for sure take time.

Has anyone thought of a memory-editing plug in/program that makes letters read right-to-left when written in Arabic script, and left-to-right when in English?

Not yet, master Fox. It all depends on Valve to add Arabic to Steam at the moment. They said in order to show them how much any of us, Language Groups/Wanters, want that language to come on Steam, we can start translating few of the games' files. I myself have tried to do so for Steam Application, and it went miserably. The problem is that Valve needs to add a Right-to-Left system along with the default Left-to-Right. That might not happen soon, as we have been told before. Currently, three Languages are depending on this: Arabic , Hebrew and Persian. Let's hope they get more excited to add it sooner than very, very later.
