Hello everyone,

Unfortunately the server renewal hit on the same day my credit card was locked down because of shenanigans at a sketchy gas station I visited a couple days ago. After much violent arguing with my bank I'll be getting my replacement card tomorrow and renewing the server rental immediately. Sorry to have the server down on a Saturday night, I wanted to ride some dinosaurs tonight too.

Hey guys,

With tonight's release of version 1.78 there have been a TON of options added for server owners to fine tune their servers and I'm going to take advantage of that.

First, I'll be cutting the length of the nights in half. Night time sucks, but I don't want to eliminate it completely. We'll be implementing this change immediately and we'll see how it goes. If needed I can tweak it back closer to the default or shorten it even more. Your feedback is most welcome.

Secondly, I can now enable PVP on the server for players but completely disable it vs structures. I'm going to be doing this, but not immediately. I wanted to give everyone at least a few days to be notified about the changes and prepare for them. If anyone has any concerns or suggestions about implementing PvPvE on this server please let me know.

There are a ton of other changes that can be made regarding XP levels, engrams, and engram points. I'll be doing some fine tuning to these things over the coming weeks. I'll let you all know well in advance of any changes I'll be making.

I'm restarting the server shortly to apply the patch and make the config changes, just waiting on one of our Tribes to finish taming their girthy new Spino and then we get down to business.

EDIT: I've also done a slight modification that makes all structures slightly more resilient to damage. If anyone notices any issues with this change please let me know.
